– Cristiano Ronaldo has agreed new Real Madrid contract 

– The deal extends his stay at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2021 

– Real Madrid announces the deal 

According to Real Madrid’s official statement, famous striker Cristiano Ronaldo will renew his deal Ronaldo will stay with Real Madrid until 2021, when he will turn 36. Meanwhile, his current deal was due to expire in 2018. Real Madrid’s statement reads: “The official event for the renewal of Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract will take place tomorrow, Monday November 7 at 13:30CET in the presidential box at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. The Portuguese forward will extend his contract until 30 June 2021 at the event attended by club president Florentino Perez and the player himself.”

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has reacted:  “I’m happy because what he must do is finish his career here. Cristiano is unique. What he has done and what he will do. His only intention is to finish his career here.”

He stressed: “I am happy because we can renew and he can finish with this white shirt as I did long ago.”

The Portugal striker joined Real Madrid in 2009  and has gone on to win one La Liga crown,  two Copa del Rey and Champions League titles during his time in the Spanish capital. This season the 31-year-old has scored seven goals in 12 appearances in all competitions.
